Covid-19 Information

In order to provide a safe environment for you and our team and in line with the current global Covid-19 pandemic, we ask that you have read and understood this policy prior to the commencement of your stay with us.

The lead hirer should circulate the below information to everyone attending Ardmay House.

  • All government legal guidance with regard to Covid-19 must be adhered to (e.g. number of households mixing, adherence to travel restrictions, social distancing).

  • Ardmay House operates an enhanced cleaning policy in line with the Association of Scottish Self-Caterers ‘Cleaning Protocols for Self-Catering Properties in the Context of Covid-19’ guidelines.

  • Please do not come to Ardmay House if you are feeling unwell with any symptoms of Covid-19 (including fever/high temperature, persistent dry cough, loss of sense of taste/smell), if you are in the shielding group or if others in your household are unwell or symptomatic. You can get further advice from NHS Inform (www.nhsinform.scot).

  • The lead hirer must keep a record (name and phone number) of all guests in line with the Scottish Government Test and Protect scheme.

  • Hirers and guests should adhere to Scottish Government social distancing guidelines.

  • In the event that a guest develops symptoms whilst staying away from home, they should immediately book a test through NHS Inform online or if they can’t get online by phoning 0800 028 2816.

  • All guests of Ardmay House should use the hand sanitiser provided on entering and leaving the building and should wash their hands regularly.

  • Guests should catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue and dispose of any tissues into a bin and wash hands immediately. If an individual does not have tissues to hand, they should catch coughs and sneezes in the crook of their elbow.

  • On arrival, the lead hirer will be met by a member of the Ardmay House team for a tour of the building. Please wear a mask for the meet and greet and tour of the building.

  • The lead hirer remains the ‘responsible person’ for the duration of the stay.

  • Upon departure, the house should be left as it has been found. Please open windows. There is a cleaning cupboard in the front hall with cleaning products for you to use and further cleaning products in the kitchen.
