ABOUT ARDMAY HOUSE
Dating from 1854 Ardmay House was originally built as a Victorian fishing lodge. The house has been comprehensively refurbished in recent years and has a very distinctive character.
Located in its own grounds, the house has a private beach with a seating and barbecue area that looks out onto the breathtaking scenery of Loch Long and the surrounding mountains - The Arrochar Alps.
With tartan carpets, a grand piano and plenty of communal space Ardmay House has a relaxed, homely feel which make it the ideal location for any gathering or event.
We have a very convenient location, less than one hour’s drive from Glasgow, and only 45 minutes from Glasgow Airport, with excellent public transport links.
Accommodation comprises of 13 bedrooms, ranging from large doubles to singles (plus additional bedrooms with disabled access), a common room, dining room, lounge, many toilets and showers (with further toilets and disabled facilities on ground floor), attractive grounds, private beach and large commercial kitchen.
Wi-Fi, Smart TV with HDMI cable. 2 pianos (including magnificent Grand Piano), gas central heating, bed linen and towels provided. For our younger guests, we are able to provide baby and toddler amenities including travel cots, high chairs, baby bath, selection of toys, books and games at no additional cost. Well behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement.
